Neumiller & Beardslee has a long history of representing clients in the natural resources field. Specifically, the office has, for more than 35 years, represented companies engaged in aggregate mining and the mining of other minerals. In connection with ag mining, the office provides assistance with permitting, SMARA and land acquisition. The office also has been deeply involved in water issues representing individual, agriculture and urban water users as well as numerous public districts, cities and counties. The office also works with various public entities that provide flood control. On several occasions we have worked either for a public agency or a developer to revise flood hazard maps and specifically to remove land from the flood hazard zone following physical improvements.

In recent years, the office has assisted with the construction of natural gas pipelines and storage facilities.
