Michael R. Tener is an associate attorney with Neumiller & Beardslee whose practice areas include general business law, banking and finance, litigation, and trusts and estates. Mr. Tener graduated with distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.A. in English. While at Cal, Michael served as Submissions Editor for the Berkeley Undergraduate Journal and was published in the undergraduate political science journal Politica. He received his Juris Doctor in 2007 from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law, where he held a chair position on the Moot Court Board and served on the Recruitment, Retention, and Outreach Committee as well as the law school’s Admissions Committee. Mr. Tener was Circulation Editor for the U.C. Davis Journal of Juvenile Law & Policy and was awarded a public interest grant from the King Hall Legal Foundation.
Prior to joining Neumiller & Beardslee, Mr. Tener interned with the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office, the San Joaquin County Public Defender’s Office, and the United States Department of Commerce’s Trade Advocacy Center in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Tener was admitted to practice in California in 2007 and is also admitted before the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of California. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the San Joaquin County Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
