Neumiller & Beardslee was established in 1903 and is currently an AV rated law firm consisting of numerous attorneys representing clients in diversified areas of the law. The firm's major practice areas are business law (including healthcare), real estate and land use, litigation, public and environmental law, and probate and estate planning. Several of our attorneys have advanced degrees in business, taxation, and land use/environmental law.

Our business lawyers handle corporate securities, wineries, secured financing, real estate, and agricultural matters. Clients include some of the largest 50 developers in the nation, agricultural organizations, financial institutions, and numerous national business entities desiring local representation. The firm handles complex business, land and real estate transactions each year.

Our real estate work includes property acquisition, commercial and residential development projects, leasing, landlord-tenant problems, real estate financing, entitlements and work before numerous regulatory agencies.

In the agricultural arena, the firm has extensive experience with short and long-term leasing, joint ventures, agricultural marketing, and farm management contracts. Our agricultural clients are involved in stock raising, dairies, orchards, vineyards, row and field crops.

The firm's litigation section manages a heavy volume of commercial litigation and arbitration plus agricultural, products liability matters, trademark matters, and personal injury. The firm also represents a number of self-insured clients. The firm's lawyers engage in trial and appellate work in both Federal and State courts.

Our public and environmental law sections advise public agency clients and private individuals concerning environmental regulation as well as the use and management of land, water, minerals and other resources. The firm devotes considerable time to so called "toxic" problems including waste disposal, pure food and drug problems, hazardous waste problems, and air and water quality work.

We have also developed a significant practice in employee relations. We have dealt with all areas of internal personnel matters, including wrongful termination and sexual harassment. We have experience with the difficult problem posed by drugs in the work place.

The firm has an extensive family succession, estate planning and probate practice which involves analysis of client's assets, business entities, and implementation of recommended plans.
